i would still say go with a dslr. and you mentioned flash. a lot of times that ruins pics. with a dslr, if you get, say, the 50mm f1.8, you probably won't need flash with decent enough lighting. i just wouldn't buy another prosumer or…

that's not a macro lens anyway. a true macro lens would have a fixed f-stop, not a 35-90. the tamron macro is a 90mm f2.8 lens. it has no zoom. it's like a prime lens, no range.
you need to check the compatibility of lenses when you buy…

yes. why don't you get a nikon d60 i think it is or the canon rebel xti or whatever their newer one is. you can get it with the body only and then get a cheap 50mm 1.8 fast lens, which is only about $100. and with that alone, you should be set…

Thankyou so much for 3rd place, bet it was really hard to choose from all the lovely photos. And i do miss my beefy so much, even having 3 other dogs there is something missing with him not here so thankyou for your kind comments.
