Great passion for photography, but with zero knowledge in this field. Started a basic course 3 weeks ago. Hopefully able to learn as much as I can and produce some stunning shots as time progresses.

sorry that it took such a long time but busy busy.
I live in holland now. Before i lived in Ghana and before that in china. I think i will move again next year to asia.
I will also go to check out your work and comment them soon.
The "long way to go" is the fun part. I've been shooting for over ten years, and it's still my favorite thing to do. There seem to be lots of excellent people and heaps of inspiration on this site, so I hope you continue to learn and have a blast, and also wish you an excellent New Year!
You've got a great eye for composition, which I think is something that is incredibly difficult to teach. The mechanics of your camera and the technical aspects to the craft you will learn as you go. You've got a very solid foundation to build on. Keep up the good work!
thank you so much :)

Hi Glen. I have lived in Singapore now for the past 5 years. Currently I'm on a long extended holiday as I'm in NY visiting family and looking at other photography opportunties as well. Have never been to Amsterdam but hopefully someday I will. Keep in touch....:)
Hi herman,
Was just there in Amsterdam not too long ago, its awesome, cobblestone road and little cottages, i really like the feel of an old country :P anyway, snow is tricky bec it's so reflective, 1. correct for white balance, it ifs cloudy, sunny, overcast, etc. coz auto WB might not be good enough
2.Shoot during the "Golden Hours", when the sun is low on the horizon, to capture the texture and shape of the snow on the ground, so it's not all white patches showing, a little dramatic lighting would be good :)
3. Xmas lights, a good tripod is a must! So you can use slow shutter speed.
Lastly, protect your camera from the snow...!
Ok, there it is, happy shooting!
