How to increase sharpness/resolution in the photos posted in the picturesocial?

The pics that are uploaded in here look much sharper in my computer than what they look on this page. However, in respect to my pics, the photos of other people are much sharper. Are there any tricks or tips that I ain't considering while uploading the pics or how would they look sharper?

I get those pictures studying Natural History. I am not into, what a lot of people do, is to go out and take hundreds of pictures of everything they come across. I plan my outings and with years of studying the animals, I achieve the photographs that I want.
