"Nice shot. IMHO, I think this shot would do better in landscape orientation rather than portrait. Doing so when shot, would've given a better perspective of the scene and enve more emphasis on the morning fog. I would definately crop off quite…"

" Lets see, umm, I would run it through photoshop then HDR software and then again photoshop and end up with. If it's kind of blury, the image had lots of noise and after HDR it was a hole lot more."

"What makes this photograph is the early morning fog. You might want to crop it to the extent to appreciate that aspect more and maintain attention on the horse. I think everyone else's comments are in line with what I'm thinking. Even try…"

"I really like this comp. I agree that I would crop some of the forground and possible some of the left side. The sky is a little washed out but whether you could change that and keep the misty feel I am not sure. I think B&W would look…"

"Kool shot! I would've also shot a whole series of this as the horse walked, just to see what I got and to see the horse in different positions."

"Very nice! For comments, I would suggest cropping away about 3 ripples of the foreground to put attention back on the horse and tree and add contrast to create some true black."

Dirty Camera And Lens

I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi. It's dirty inside and needs a cleaning. I wonder is it a good idea to try doing it myself. I feel I'm somewhat skillful with tools and machine work. But with no instructional materails I'm not sure if I want to try it. Let me hear from you if you clean your own opticals.
