"In your first pic, you have a halo over the trees. This is the most common mistake in HDR processing and can only be solved by further post processing in Photoshop. Usually you can use the clone stamp tool. Set the hardness to about 25% and…"

"Reg is right about the washed out look. That can work at times. I think a boost in the contrast will help. Try the burn and the contrast. Paul"

"The first one JP is very washed out looking , no contrast. The second is better but still needs work with the burn tool to give some contrast. Not the best of subject for HDR work. I use 3 shots 2 stops apart and get good results, not so much…"

Your thoughts on my first HDR images

Hoping for some input on these two HDR images. Snow Picture: I ended up with some significant noise in the sky. It was processed with Photomatrix and then I tried to pull the noise out with Lightroom 3.  I also has some halo effects around the trees and sky.Snow.jpgMelting Picture: Taken exactly one week later.  It was very foggy.…See More

Wow! Coming from an expert in wedding photography that means a lot that you would take the time to write me such useful advise. I truly appreciate it.
