Hi Nancie,
Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. In answer to your question
Giclee is reproduction of a photograph on canvas. It is also easy to embellish these and paint over your photo
For those who are business oriented in their photography whether it be portraiture, weddings, promotional work, stock photography, or documentary work.

My Qoute " The picture is in front of the lens but the vision is behind it ".
I would like people to share what has worked the best for them on this site .........that will add to our photography techniques and also any short cut for PS.
By the way there are some incredible artists in here
Hi James, You have captured The beauty of our State in your shots. I especially like the one with the moonlight on the water, an the seaoats in the foreground. I'm an amature photographer, so could you tell me what giclee is? I'm not familiar with that term....
Thanks James for the comments... on the slough shot I redid it as of today taking Jans advice about the contrast. Its been reposted. I love this site it has alllowed me to learn so much and I really value the advice from some of the members here who have been shooting for years.
Hi, on my barn and flowers picture I think i just clarified it. I wanted the wood grain in the barn wood to stand out, maybe I should of clarified it only once.. christy
James thank you for your nice comments on my pictures. I appreciate it very much. Your quote about the picture being in front of the lense but the vision is behind it is so true. To me the challenge is getting the picture in the camera to look like I see it with my eye. And making it interesting to others. christy
