I have always been into images and looking at phtography, but it has only been withing the last 12 months where I have been able to afford some sort of camera that is any good. I'm one of these people that never seems to have bulks of cash to work with you see.
I love night photography, especially shot at long exposure and although I still am a few bits of kit short, I have still been attempting this with balancing my camera on railings and such like.
My Photography Equipment:
I succumbed to the Panasonic LX3. For the following reasons:
1. I need a better compact cam. Was using Panasonic Fx3
2. I need a Wide Angle with Good Lens Speed. The DSLR Wide Angle range costs above £700 and above.
3. DSLR lens are bulky for Wide Angle
Lumix LX3 had been well praised by many photographers as a good camera of choice. At a price of £320 it was more than half of a DSLR Lens price, it is irresistable, even after a long ponder of half a year.
It has a hot shoe which means it can expand with me, I wanted something small and compact that gets the job done at ease. Lumix LX3 came to mind and I wasted no time, I went to to JB Camera to grab one. It was a lower price than the others who offered $699. I got mine with a case, LCD Protector, and I have just ordered a lens adaptor from lensmate, whilst picking up a polorizing filter and a ND filter for the bargin price of $10 each from a nice little store in Melbourne.
I'm looking forward to sharing some experiences with you in the future...
This is a shot looking up Gregorys alley that I took on one of myfirst photo walks in back in Norwich. I use this alley all of the timeand I love the colours to the right and then the contrast of thechurch to the left.
