Profile Information

About Me and My Photography Experience:
Artistically I am what is termed a 'Regionalist'. I am In Love with the area of the State of Missouri. I do travel from time to time - however the bulk of my Photography is of my Home State, Missouri, U.S.A.
I do NOT do a lot of heavy Editing to any of my photographs as I like what I saw in the view finder - and I never Ever mess with the color. I feel that the best times are had from Sun-rise to about mid-morning -- then again late in the afternoon till a little after dusk. I am retired from the position of an Electrician. Now I am a Photographer.
Every Photograph is a fraction of a moment that can be 'frozen' for All Time. Never to be repeated - and so in that THAT Moment Becomes Special to ALL who see it.
One of the most Important Things is THE LIGHT -- there is really nothing else -- Only the Reflected Light. THIS is what I concentrate on.
There is NO BUG-HOUSE art here in My Photography.
Please enjoy the Natural World around you.

My favorite Quote=

"It's Not Where you are ---
It's your reason for Being There."
Railroad Bum, Singer - U. Phillips, 1975

Hello there and welcome to PictureSocial.com, a network of photographers. I'm glad that you've joined and it's time to be in the crazy world of photography! In this site, you'll find photographs which come from beginners, amateur and professional photographers and I must say that all of them do some amazing work. I'd also want to invite you to join groups here such as Nikon Users Group, Canon Users Group, Live PictureSocial Chat Group and Pixel Induced Group(an all around group) and joining these groups can help improve your knowledge in photography. You can start discussions, comment on pictures, and share some of your advice, criticism and experiences in the forum, and I'm pretty sure you'll get positive feedbacks from a lot of nice people here around. I hope you'll enjoy it here!

Cheers!
Maeda
