Wow...I may pick your brain on how to take better black and whites. I haven't gotten the grasp yet, everything I take is just flat, I can't get dimension from black and white.

I worked on it in Corel, let me know if this is the sort of thing you were looking for. I wasn't able to do much with the sky, but I
cropped it down and focused more on the rest of the picture, it definitely pops more.
