Just got interested in photography earlier 2007, looking to improve and such. Places interest me more than people, nights more than days.
I want gear, but I won't be getting anywhere anytime soon (no income)

Canon 300D, EF 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 (Kit, looking to upgrade.)

I am completely and utterly in love with my 60mm macro lense, it's not only a good lense for macro but also for portrait shots.
I don' t have any other experiences with lenses yet I am afraid. I do want to get me another macro lense that allows me to stay away a little further from the subject. Especially with insects (which are my favorite) it's darn hard to get them to keep still while you are hovering up close.

i haven't been doing much shooting lately, but i guess that won't be for long!
I was using a compact DC most of the time as my parents are using 400D at home.
For 400D we have got the kit lense as well as 75-300mm USM
