I agree with Eric that it's best to use film speed, shutter and aperture settings to your advantage in helping capture the image with as little noise as possible. However, if you have a photo that still needs some cleaning up, here's a site that you…
Manny - A couple of interesting photos. The first one is really nice, especially the colors. If Pixel Induced gets around to "Buildings or Structures" (or if you should suggest it for the monthly theme), I'm certain you'll have the rest of us trumpe…
Denise - Nice shot, especially with a bit of color manipulation. I suspect the photo it was taken in Colorado. Only visited once during the autumn - some great views, especially with the aspen turning to yellow and gold with hints of red.
David -
Thanks for the compliment. I particularly like your photos of Acadia National Park and the Maine coast. I see some of your photos are from Nova Scotia - at least I think Peggy's Cove Lighthouse is located there. If you ever get to the Marit…
Hello Jay, I would rather like the Panasonic + an Olympus E, than one very expensive DSLR. Two for the price of one ;) (eBay) - and if you still got money left the LUMIX FZ5 (or FZ7 but much more expensive) is a perfect camera to have always in your pocket. In short : pocket + bridge + DSLR = picture heaven.
Thanks for the efforts for the contest site, but it isn't that important to me, anyway, I'll never win these kind of contests, I'm not commercial enough ;) (Roses, sunsets, animals etc... always win) - Jan
Thanks Jay, I would like some names of responsibles on this site. This contest is the only element of competition on this site, they should do better their best to make the best of it. Personally I find they should give a 'price' to the three first pictures.
Have you already bought your first DSLR Jay? If not I can advice something like the Panasonic Lumix FZ28, it's a bridge, I feel it's one of the best cameras around for the moment. As a DSLR I consider my Olympus E420 as a wonderful camera, with very good picture quality and 'live view' for a very democratic price.
If you want more of my experience with both just ask me, no problem - thanks Jan
Again thank you for your comments, realy gave me something to think about.. This is the great thing with digital and PS the way its so easy to take someones comments on bored and make adjustments. I may have a play with "Barn" and post another version.
