I use M (manual) on almost all of my shots. when shooting night shots a great deal of bracketing is needed to assure than you are going to get what you want. Also a good tripod is mandatory to be able to shoot the slow shutter speeds necessary! I also experiment with the in camera light settings to help get the colors shades I want. The S5 has a very large range of colro effects that you can apply in the camera. I hope this helps, Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can help you further!
