- About Me and My Photography Experience:
- I began my life long passion for photography when I was 12 years old. I recieved a set of Nat Geo books on wild america. the photography was stunning and I flipped over it. I got my first camera when I was 13 and shot snapshots and color prints for a few years. then I fell in love with black and white. I met a photographer who introduced me to medium and large format B&W photography. I built my own darkroom and spent years perfecting my fine art fiber based archival prints. I always just did it as a hobby and a passion until 2009 when I bought a Canon Eos 5D Mark II and started my own business shooting weddings and familys. it has been slow to take off but I know I made the right choice.I have once again fallen in love with photography from a different viewpoint. I never really considered portraits as art until I tried to do them myself. Now I have the utmost respect for all the top pros in that field.I continue to grow and expand my limits of creativity and technique daily and that is why I have joined this site.
