Ok, my 2 cents on dslrs'. Figure out what you can spend on one and start there. Google "dslrs' in ??? price range". You should get links to a few pages. Look at reviews and pick a couple that interest you(concerning what you'll use it for mostly) Then , go to a camera store or best buy or wal-mart ( places that sell the ones you're interested in) and hold them in your hand. Pick them up and see how they feel. Although they look the same, the ergonomics and weight are different. One will probably feel right at home in your hand. If it's close on the one's you try on, look at lens availability and go with the one that will give you more freedom(artistically and financially) in the future. I hope this makes sense and helps out. I overlooked the last thing about the lenses and regret it. But that's the only regret. Good Luck and Happy Shooting.
