i was successfully copying files(pictures) and pasting them into new folders when all of a sudden i would get the following error message when pasting:the file name is too long for the destination…Continue

"there was an errolr uploading your photo.if you keep seeing this error try another photo".........I tried several photos and each got this error message.Continue

"ironically,the files I renamed outside of pse 10 were unaffected as missing files.the only files that were affected were NOT renamed at all"

"well I did some homework.i uninstalled elements 10 and reinstalled it.the "missing file"pop up came back though my pics were preserved"

"If the files are part of Elements, I would try reinstalling it.  If the files are your photos, the Browse button is probably still the best solution.  Try looking up the problem in Help to see if it says anything helpful."

"I attempted to reconnect the missing files by browsing.i got no response from the "reconnect' button though.i highlighted all the disconnected files."

"if I uninstall elements 10 and reinstall it will my photos still be in elements10?when I had elements 7 the pics were preserved after uninstalling and reinstalling.i have 100's of pictures in albums that I don't want to reload!  thanks"
