Your photographs are spectacular! The details on the birds are wonderful. The aircraft photos are dramatic. I was in Scotland in the 1960's and would love to come back for a visit.
Hi Barry, thanks for the kind comment on my Moorhen image, they are present in the US and parts of Canada. they're commonly known as Common Gallinule on your side of the pond
cheers, John
I am a very keen birder and have been interested in nature since childhood and despite taking photo's on and off for many years, it's only since 2002 I have tried to really make an attempt to capture a good selection of images.
I am also interested in photographing military aircraft but only go on the occasional trip to bases and air shows due to family and work commitments.
My Photography Equipment:
Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Lenses: Sigma 300mm f/2.8 EX APO HSM , Canon 100-400mm IS LUSM, Sigma 28-135mm f/3.8-5.6 Macro and also use a Sigma 1.4x Converter EX DG.
For digiscoping I still use my trusty Nikon Coolpix 995 through a Leica APO-Televid 77 with 20x W eyepiece.
