Hi Kat, Thanks! Every time I passed by this barn like structure on the highway I would think "That interesting, I wonder what it is?" Yesterday I pulled off the highway and went to find out. Turns out it is a barn converted in the Fine Arts Academy. "Very Cool!" I have two other photos of it that I'm going to submit that I think are even nicer than this one. By shooting the gathered rain water on the lawn I was able to get this awesome reflection of the barn in the water in the other two photos.

Thanks for the nice comments and welcome message, it'll probably take me little while to look through the site and get used to how it all works.

As for my profile picture, we are not sure exactly what she is as we rescued her and no-one knew what mix she was. But she's a lovely little soul!

Hi Kat, always thrilled to meet new photographers. Okay, I'm not 100% sure why it works but when I use a circular polarizing filter, along with a very long time exposure, and a low ISO (100-200) I am able to achieve that starlight effect. Or you could just buy a star light filter. Once again nice to meet you.
