I am a naturalist and animal lover and I hope that comes through in my work. I always try to brave the elements to get the beauty after the storm.
I run my own non-profit and sell my photos as a fundraiser. Hopefully I'll have a website for that soon. Our first project is to build a solar farm in Inyokern, CA.
My Photography Equipment:
Nikon D90. 18-200 VR DX and some sort of old Nikon macro I can't remember the specs on. mmm... HD video...
So I was reading up on some things and came across two stories of people who have claimed to have found a lost city underground in the Panamint Mountains in Death Valley. In both the stories, the people were scoffed at and went back to try and show people, but the landscape had changed in a storm and the entrances could not be found. Also in both stories, the people went back to try and find the city again and were never seen nor heard from again. I have done some research based on the stories,… Continue
I spent all last month at Death Valley. On two separate instances a week apart, both on Saturday, and both between noon and 1pm as I was travelling North just before Mormon Point, a coyote literally got in the road and stopped my car. TWO WEEKS IN A ROW. Needless to say a photo session followed each occurrance, but I found it odd that this animal seemed to be stopping ME to interact with ME. I do believe this is my spirit guide, and I have seen him before at Joshua Tree where he led me to a… Continue
Whoever has the chance right now, go to San Simeon on the CA coast HWY 1. If you can get through the chorus and smell of fish-burps and fart-noises, you will be rewarded with some of the most interesting sea animals. Their facial expressions are priceless

I gotta say, I am really enjoying the Sedona landscape. There are no real major features there, but the overall landscape is as photogenic as any Southwest national park.
The Big Buddha (Tian Tan Buddha) is huge, stands 34 meters tall and weighs 250 metric tons. The second photo is one of the 6 smaller bronze statues that surrounds the Big Buddha. Again we had to climb 240 steps to reach the…
