- About Me and My Photography Experience:
- I am retired and live about twenty miles from a "City?" I love to get up in the morning and if a good start of a day, grab my equipment, some of which is in the car already, and cruise the back roads seeking a good picture. This I also do at night if the sun is right and not too many clouds. I love the time 15 min before and 15 min after the sunset and sunrises. I have been shooting for about four years again, couldn't afford the film anymore., and went digital. I also have Photoshop CS3 and still learning the software.
I have taught Beginning photography and some of the freeware packages. like Picasa for people to start on. I am an insensate book hound and video hound for anything related to photography. Now I have found a network with lots of everything including great photographers.
- My Photography Equipment:
- For film I had a Nikon but switch to canon when digital came out.
I have presently a Canon D30 with a 28-135 is lens and a 70-300 USMC lens and a 580 Ex flash,
I got the 70-200 2.8 L IS USMC lens and the seller negotiated with me adding four tiffen filters in a case and a lens case .
He also had a Canon 2X extender and I talked him into selling it too. I got one heck of a deal everything at two thousand , Luck was shining in my direction today.
I am now praying that someone wants to get rid of a Canon 5D Model II. and assorted filters for all the lenses. Looking forward to getting more equipment.
