Laurence Goff has enjoyed taking photos at a very young age of 12. I am happy to SUPPORT Newark as a lovely place to visit. A Newark Town Councillor from 2004-2007 again in 2009. St John Ambulance member in Newark since 1998. A member of Friends of Newark Cemetery which was set up in November 2005 by a group of people who got together to care for the cemetery, and promote it as a beautiful place to visit.
It consists of people from the council and others who wished to help in any way they could. Friends of Newark Cemetery aims to meet the following objectives:
To help improve the services and facilities of the cemetery
To promote the site as an attractive amenity to residents and visitors all year round. To enhance the facilities on the site the group intends to introduce areas of wildflowers, add bird and bat boxes, and eventually restore the Chapel interior to be used as an information centre for visitors.
