I believe you are getting a yellow cast because the pot lights above the model are probably tungsten and have a high colour temperature. The rest of your lights look like they might be flourescents. I recommend getting LED lights that have a cooler…

Thank you so much. I have CS4 in PS, the camera didn't come with Capture, it came with View NX.

I have just remembered, most software companies will give you a thirty day, full use of the program. So pick your way to go and download the software and use it. Remember you have Capture NX 2 on disc all it will need doing is upgrading to the…

White balance, read your manual. to set it stand in the light area, switch the lens to manual and just point the lens at the palm of your hand so that your hand covers the whole lens and press the shutter button. The palm of your hand will be near…

Thanks for the link. What I found on one photo was: Shutter Speed 1/100sec F/5.0 ISO 400 Lens 39mm White Balance Auto Subject Distance Range Unknown Shutter speed is OK f/5 a little small for me. I would like a little more depth to the picture to…

I have had a quick go at this picture, what do you think? Now there is still no EXIF data. Now I have checked mine and all the EXIF data is missing as well. I can see it on Canon and Sony, so why does it disappear with Nikon? If you wish you can…

I have to agree with the colours of white and yellow. Now on this picture there is no EXIF Data so I have to assume it is edited in some form. The basic EXIF should be in there. Looking at the picture I think the camera has fired when the focus is…

What power lights are you using? Constant lighting should be at around 200-300 watts to get decent lighting without having to increase your ISO. The lights at B&H can take higher wattage than the domes at Home Depot. Also it looks like you are…

Thank you all so much, and Fred please don't drown yourself LOL. Ok, I have a studio set up in my basement, ok not a real studio, but all I can afford at the time. I went to b&h to price lights, hmm they look like the dome things at Home…

I have just had another thought whilst I was trying to drown myself in the shower. Can you post a photograph that was blurred on this thread. All I need you to do is resize it to 800 on its longest side. I want to look at the EXIF Data, that can…

Well, this is sounding rather complicated. Hmm..., it might be your flash telling your camera what to do, and getting it wrong. Many flash/camera combinations have features that uses a signal from the flash to determine light levels and distance to…

Hi, One thing i would also look at is the Lens you are using? I used a series of Sigma and kit lenses which are quite bad at back focus...and you end up with back subjects in focus...and your foreground is stuck out of focus. ditch the kit lens and…

Thank you again, Deborah!  This is part of a State park called Putnam Park. It is part Revolutionary War museum and part trail system.  I can only do part of the trail system (back injury) but it is a really beautiful place!
