Hi, I'm new...I've taken a few shots of kids and thought they came out well. Any tips? This has been my favorite one...it could use some cropping though.
A group for aspiring child portrait photographers. You need not be a pro to join, just have a serious desire to learn the art of portrait photography and tip and trick on getting those difficult kiddie shots.
I try differant modes and get the feel of whats works best at that time

I am back
I have not been on here for quite some time. My life all of a sudden caught up with me! I have not had much time for photography these days. Even though I was busying myself with photography related things as well as family and a 3 week trip to Italy which was awesome, I haven't used my camera much.

Santa was generous this year
I have figured that I must be one really good girl. Last year for Christmas, Santa brought me my first DSLR, a Canon EOS 40D which came with a kit lens, a 17-85mm IS USM lens. Not too shabby I say!
In the course of a year I have become even more addicted to photography, focusing on trying to understand the technical aspect of the art (but no closer to understanding).
