- About Me and My Photography Experience:
- Hi! My name is Lilly : )
I'm a Photojournalist who is truly inspired by life and wants to capture every moment. I carry my camera where ever I go, if I don't have my camera I have my ipod which works well or my cell phone.
I love Pin Up! I'm hoping to work with some great models this year. I tend to lean on alternative modeling. I love coming up with concepts, sometimes I freak people out especially my boyfriend when I tell him my idea and he is like ok and then I do it. I guess I like the challenge.
I was obsessed with David Lynch and Martin Scorsese Films in high school. As for my experience, I went to SFSU for Film Theory. I drove my family and friends crazy with film projects. Then I feel in love with German, French, and Cuban Cinema. After college I became involved with the San Francisco Underground Cinema and worked mostly in Education. In 2003, while working at Stanford University I decided to get involve with Journalism and Television. In 2005, I moved to New York to work for MTV. Most of my work at MTV was Television Production and boring. After moving back from the East Coast I moved back to San Francisco and continued to work in TV for various companies. I think the shocking part was when I worked for a Japanese Company producing Anime for the American Audience. Feeling frustrated and bored with work, I decide to throw in the towel and opted to go back to school. In was in 2008, I discovered I loved photography. I started out with a simple point and shoot. Last year I got my first digital camera and within months got a gig freelancing. Looking forward I cant imagine not doing this and I'm loving every moment.
