I just moved down the road a bit from where I was living. I so enjoy the birds and I have a whip bird that has a neat call. Yes I feel so blessed to be able to see these beautiful birds fly freely. The view of the Glass House Mountains is great from where I live. I love mountains, water falls and nature in general. I am an outdoors person and I really dont like to be inside much unless its at night or raining.
Thank you Lorraine,
I work in Snoqualmie & live in North Bend. Its a beautiful area as is your wonderful state of Montana - or as my hillbilly friend calls it Montucky (He's in Bozeman and is a PHD Cancer research scientist)... We are both bluegrass fans hence the slang name :)
I haven't been in Montana since 2006 so I am due for a return visit. Let me know if you pass this way. I just got a new Sigma 50mm f/1.4 lens since my Canon one quit a few months back and it is a much better lens than the Canon 1.4.
You mentioned you could use "all the help you can get" and I am available to help anytime - so if you have a question, dont hesitate to email me, I help & tutor a few folks. You also mentioned you are a hiker - spend the $$ on a carbon fiber tripod and carry it with you, I use mine on every hike I go on and it gives you more shooting options - especially for landscape/waterfall type shots :)
Love & Blessings, Carlton
