I really like my Sigma 70-200mm 2.8f macro lens. Waiting for my new Sigma 85mm 1.4f lens to get here so I can play with that one and see what I think about that one.
Also like my 10-20mm Sigma Lens for it's wide angle.

even to my own surprise I've had a lot of use from my Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 ..... i don't know why but it just feels good and i get some really nice shots from it

depends on the shooting requirement but I usually carry my trilogy lenses.. 16-35mm, 24-70mm & 70-200m "L" lenses of canon, all with 2.8f

Just signed up here and i have to say that the 70-200 VR11 would be my most favorite lens, i had the VR1 and upgraded to the VR11 and very happy i did.

- Im a self taught photographer , I cant seem to to grasp school teaching it dosnt sink in, I have tried, I do watch tutorials which help and any info in a simple text also helps.
What can I say ... like many people I love taking pictures.

i eventually found a simple tutorial that gets you to a white background, this one uses the dodge tool in photoshop after applying levels - there are many more advanced methods for getting rid of shadows, clutter and changing bg colour that you can graduate to sooner or later.
