You have a very nice "natural feel" for composition and the photographic process. You show beautiful compostion and are to be commended. If you're wantng to learn portraiture I would suggest joining a local portrait photographers guild to get technical background, posing lighting etc. My sense, based on looking at your images, is that you'll pick up the artistic part of it very wuickly.
