what r u thinking
perhaps a question to be poised
or is it really a suggestion
long past old
perhaps, or really I suppose
its just that flicker in your eye
or your natural beauty
that glows
My name is Meg. I'm twenty one and counting. I'm very grateful to have support from friends & family with my photography. I just got my Canon Rebel Xsi in Christmas of 2008. I was attending a Community College for B&W film but didn't get to finish the class because my father was killed in a motor cycle accident half way through the semester. I miss him very much. I use photography as a way of healing; photography is such a relaxing hobby. I've created a passion for photography and I hope to make a career out of it in the future.
My Photography Equipment:
Canon 5D Mark II, Canon Rebel Xsi , 340 Speedlite ext. flash, zoom lens, cowboy studio equipment.
Hi Megan, Thanks for the friend add. I read your profile info. Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad three years ago to cancer so I can relate. You are young so you have plenty of time to perfect your photography skills, and you are off to a great start. if you can pay attention to the constructive critiques those are the ones that help you grow. While the "Love it, and "Great shot" comments are good to hear and it is important to know when you got it right they don't really help you to grow much.
I'm only two years into photography myself but I have found that the hard to hear (but constructive) critiques are the ones the help me most. Keep up the great work.
Hello Megan and Welcome to PictureSocial. Hope you find it an enjoyable place that you can learn and maybe teach others. We do have a Canon User Group. If you are interested, you can find it under the "Groups" tab at the top of the page. Hope to see you there.
You have some awesome photos! Let me know when you post more. You have a great eye. And a nice variety of everything.
