I started really getting into photography when I was about 16, when I went to Germany. I had a Nikon 35mm camera and to my shock I took some amazing photos. I decided to work a lot with 35mm until I decided to go digital. I recently bought a Nikon D40 *went cheap in case I didn't like it* and fell in love.
I recently was given my great grandfathers Kodak Brownie, so that's my next pet project; to get that baby snapping again.
My favorite things to photograph are nature, mostly mushrooms and leaves and stuff, since living in Ely you get quite an abundance of that. Otherwise I enjoy motion like sports or anything equine.
My Photography Equipment:
Nikon D40, currently working on getting film for the Kodak 2A Brownie I recently inherited.
Also still enjoy 35mm's even though it seems they are going obsolete.
First of all, great profile picture. You look so young and fresh ... lol.
I looked over your stuff and I have to say I like a lot of your work. If I may make a suggestion, it would be to work on DOF a bit more. You have a great eye but see things with too much depth. That makes your pictures very ordinary, use the advantage of nikon's ability to capture great details in a smaller DOF and your pics go from good to OMG that is awesome.
Hope to see more of your work, and please feel free to comment on mine :)

I have looked at the body of your submissions and you have some very good work here. I am amazed that you haven't gotten more compliments. the thing that separates good from great in your case is that you have a tendency to bullseye, making them ordinary. your photos are much much better than that.
Hey!
You mentioned in a thread a few weeks ago that you ordered the Nikkor 55-200mm lens - how are you finding it? I'm still being indecisive and haven't bought it yet!
