I use OpenOffice or Serif DeskTop Publishing, either will produce a pdf file. It entirely depends on how you design the layout

They are just pdf files, most word software will convert to pdf

Yes, it's a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM. I'm glad you like it. It's one of my favorite shots. :)
