Good work Dan, the timing on these is very critical in winter - you may want to consider doing a bracket in the direction of overexposure in future then layering up the images so you can selectively erase areas you want to see more detail in. …

If you can, move your position so you are shooting with the sun - this will put light into the birds eyes... very difficult to do but if you know their spots and habits you should be able to pick both the light and the angle.

Photography training holidays

Hi, I've been a stranger for a couple of weeks as I am currently in Morocco doing a recce for photography training holidays out here, starting early December.

Morocco is absolutely amazing photography territory, I've been to 30 or so countries and this is the best place I've ever seen for photography opportunities by far. I'll post some of my latest pics so you can see what I mean by the quality of light and the nature of the shooting out here.

Lighting set up is easy, it's counter intuitive though. Let me know when you want to learn it and I'll explain.
