Having trouble getting a good picture of the Moon as I once did? This group is about capturing a good Moon shot and any tips to help others do the same

Try starting with ...F 11 SS 250 and use tripod. Then play from that point. F16 and so on. WB I use auto and sometimes play with that to using cloudy for warm or tungsten for blue. Goodluck!

I just want to take a minute to thank everyone here for their contributions to this great community and all the warm welcomes and extremely generous compliments that I have recieved from the first minute I became a member. I am very thankful that I found this site. Out of all the stuff out there on the WWW I think this the best of the best.
Oh, and exciting news....I picked up my Canon A-1 from the shop a few weeks ago and boy does it fire nice! It's all clean! Ahh! Feels good!
I needed a Canon lens, though (70mm-210mm) and so I went on Ebay and got a real nice for under $30. The guy threw in a flash unit too, so I'm set. My other flash unit was broke.
I took a few pics of some frogs in our pond. I'll take more pics soon as it's finally getting a little green around here. I'm sick of Winter shots! I have to change my MySpace page too!
Hey, Mike! Miss ya! Well, as you can tell, I haven't been able to spend too much time here...still! I haven't uploaded anything new or sort-of new.
I've been swamped with Auction stuff here at work. Tomorrow I have one more shoot to do for the Pocono Mountain documentary. It will air May 12th.
I have only two more weeks of web design class ;( I 'll have to keep busy this summer by creating a "resume website" for me. I think it will be fun! There are some other classes I'd like to take in the Fall (PHOTOSHOP!) but I have to see if it will fit into my work schedule. Right now, my class is an evening class. Photoshop may be during the day...like 11am or noon...hard to get to and from class from work...I'd have a lot of time to make up at work. I will have to think about it.
Hey Mike! Thank you so much for visiting my photo page and the comments on my photos, I really appreciate them =). Regarding the "After the dark, comes the light" photo it was taken on the plane couple minutes before the sunset. I was expecting a sunset from the plane but the weather was very cloudy, so I came a across with these clouds with a bit of sunlight and I thought it would make a great photo, so I ended up taking that photo instead of sunset =)
Hi Mike
I added some photos. It is the first time for me doing a outdoors model shoot it was done with a class. I am not really crazy about a few of them. I think I may have over done it a bit with photo shot. I am now reworking some of the photos
Hey Mike, thanks for the comments on my photos...you asked about the settings I used on "In the George Washington National Forest"...the flowing water... I shot that picture last May 5th at about 5:00 pm. Shutter speed was set at 1/2 sec...aperture setting was f/22. ISO was set at 100 and there was no Exp. Comp. used. Of course I used a tripod...TY
Really nice body of work, I was nicely surprised at some of the shots and think your sunsets are fantastic. i also really liked the grand canyon shots. Looking forward to seeing more of your work keep shooting my friend and share your tips and tricks with us when you can :)
Mike - Thanks also for sharing your photos. I enjoyed the tour of the Grand Canyon. You'll like macro. Lets you see details of nature that otherwise is missed.
