Great photo Murray. It looks very much like our Eucalyptus for Australia. I'm interested to know where you photographed it and if you know it's name?

I agree with Erica completely. I take a photograph because I like what I'm looking at and the only changes I might make, might be a little exposure and or color correction and maybe some cropping. Anything else is too much photoshop!

I agree, very interesting.

I've figured this post would create a little conversation. For the most part photojournalist images tell a story, relate a moment in time. What you saw through the viewfinder as you clicked the shutter. The issue now-a-days, way too many people sp...

Taking your images to market

So you have taken all these great photographs, you have performed all the post editing and added the appropriate captions, descriptions and keywords. Now comes the next question, what do I do to sell these images?

There are a couple issues you will need to decide first, are you going to sell to the consumer or go B2B?

Hi ! Thanks for the request ! Your collection appears to me very lonely, silent and calm. And it's not a bad thing ! It's like having a long good massage ! Thanks for sharing !

Thank you for comment on my blog. My issue isn't weather everyone works is perfect or not. I understand that not everything will appeal to me nor will my work appeal to everyone. My understanding was that this was a place to learn about photography and share work that is photography. I didn't know it was just a place to put pictures on so that people can see them. Not everyone uses this site for photograpy purposes. That is where my problem lies. Not that someones work isn't up to par. Not because there isn't any emotional value. Just that snapshots aren't what I or many others consider photography. If that was the case then I have been a photographer since I was 8. The blog was written to express my outrage that this site, claiming to be for photographers is truly just a hosting site like flickr, myspace and other such things. Some use it as their personal online family album. I suppor those that are interested in learning and wanting to grow in this field, for that was my purpose for joining . But you cannot honestly say thay every single member on here has joined for that reason. But thanks again for you opinion.
