I realize I haven't given anything to the forum yet and perhaps asking this question is a bit cheeky, but I do need some help. In return, I've posted an article further below. Also, if you're looking for video tutorials on PHOTO-PAINT or MS Word, check out my…See More

If you’ve been reading computer graphics magazines or ezines you've probably seen my name. I’ve spent the last 11 years working as an Artist and Writer.
I’ve been active as a Digital Artist for 21 years and way back in 1988 I worked as a Camera Operator in what was known as the Multi-Image industry (a precursor to multimedia as it’s known today). Over 12 years I’ve published 400+ articles and 5 books on the subject of computer graphics and photography. I was the main contributing Writer to Streaming Media World, where I wrote over 111 articles over a 16 month period.
The topics I’ve covered include Software Reviews, Tutorials, Tips and Tricks, Features, Profiles and Investigative Reporting. I create my own illustrations, photographs and screen shots.
In 1996, I entered into a collaborative effort with 3 photographers and one designer. Together, we created 296 digital images for stock photography catalogs.
A sampling of my clients are Visual Convergence, Web Developer, Photo Techniques, Mac Design, Layers Magazine, Photoshop User, Streaming Media World, WebReference.com and Rangefinder.
My most recent projects are some books that I completed and the launching of a membership site.
My membership site is DigitalArtistU.com. Memberships are $97.00/year or $9.97/month. Right now I have about 60 pieces of content on there in the form of print, audio and video tutorials. The audio pieces are interviews with some of the best in our industry (IMO). These are: Scott Georgeson, Rikk Flohr, Troy Stein, Karen Sperling, and more.
My Photography Equipment:
Two point and shoot cameras at the moment. A Canon G9 and a Canon SD800 IS. I recently bought a video camera, a Canon VIXIA HD40. I think it will mostly be for studio use. I also bought a 3 light system from Lowell for photography and video.
