That may well be an option,
the old CRT display monitors about 20 notes or so from Ebay will give far better RGB colour rendering and also calibrate way better than a laptop display.."

Again thanks for the reply. I did shoot in raw and I mentioned in my other reply just there that my monitor may indeed need recalibrated. It is soft, as I was practicing/following a text book suggestion for final touches on the editing…"

Yes I have a 17" Dell laptop and use it for my editing etc. I have seen the spyder in operation and considered it for screen calibration. Have also seen people use a cable to an ordinary tv screen and work off it."

The skin tone shadows are a touch heavy on the red which is an indication, also it's a bit patchy and overexposed on the face.
White balance / editing and or monitor calibration may be - did you shoot in raw?"

Skin tones look a bit red on my monitor and there is red / orange in the shadow between her forehead and hairline - first thoughts are it looks like an incorrect white balance setting.
Also the skin is a little blown out on the face
