The mornings have been foggy and overcast, but the evenings and nights have been clear. That is unpredictable because there are nights when the fog rolls back in about 5:00 pm. If you like to take fog shots, the northcoast is the place!
You must mean, "Sweetness and Light." They are still here and still make "Moo Bars." Some of the other stores have come and gone, but S&L is still here. The art co-op is on the corner with some great photos by Leon Porter and Matthew Filar.
Thanks for asking me to join your group of friends. Unless the state closes it down, Patrick's Point, north of Trinidad is great place to get some good shots. My photo, Light Upon the Waters, was taken from the bluff just south of Centerville Beach. Unfortunately, due to erosion, the spot where I was standing is now down on the beach. I love to shoot along some of the trails in the Redwoods.
Hi Patricia, I thought I recognized Trinidad Head, and then I saw the sculptures and knew you had to be a local. I just joined for the first time last month. The only thing I really don't like about the site is the fact that people use it to dump their photos. There are some wonderful photographers here and some interesting forum discussions, so I think I'll stick it out for a while. Glad you're back, I don't feel so lonely out here on the coast anymore!
