Great Shot, they roost in the trees above my house but I hear them but I never get to see them except in flight. They texture of the branches and the diffused light on the right side creates a focal point for the bird. I like things not…

Profile Information

About Me and My Photography Experience:: I have been a working artist most of my life, I have been a teacher at Jr. College level and also taught K-9 I am now retired from the antque /cqfe business and have started to relive. More recently I have found photography to be expediant and a joyus experience in the pursuit of Art.

My Photography Equipment:: I have in my found case the digital camera and colored printer to be for a novice to be a great beginning. Ihave a Fugi 8.A800. My days with a 35 mm were horror stories. It was the Fstops
that got to me. Now I carry my little camera everywhere I go ,hoping for that great photo op.

It has been so cold that I have had trouble with my camera batteries dying. The cold weather seems to suck the energy right out of them. I put them in my pocket to keep them warm, but it is a pain in the neck to keep having to change them. Enough complaining already. Life is good. We just had our Ferndale Victorian Christmas Day on Saturday and I was able to dress up in my Victorian clothes and take photographs of some of the other people who dressed. I did not make a lot of money, but enough to make standing in the cold worthwhile. All in all a wonderful day. I'm ready for the days to start getting longer. Spring and Fall are my favorite times of the year.
I hope you are well and enjoying the season. May you have a wonderful holiday and a really great New Year filled with great photographs.
