Back in Action after a Hiatus

Posted on February 18, 2013 at 5:46pm 1 Comment

Due to some security issues on nearly losing my identity and a significant sum of money, I removed nearly every trace of myself from the 'net for nearly two months while I checked my accounts and settled all security breaches.  I am now back and ready to contribute to this amazing site again.  Hopefully no more issues from here on out...

Hello Paul! So I am curious about your Sony expierence. I just had to take my alpha 65 to,the repair shop for a cleaning and now I have to send it back to the manufacturer to,have it completely refurbished. I found out that some of the photography community are anti Sony b/c they feel as though Sony is trying to,improve on a system that was already great. I have to have my Sony back without a doubt but until that is finished I have been shooting with a Nikon d3500 and I hate it to be honest. After using the sonys lalpha line I feel like the others are, much more difficult to get a handle on. Please let me know What you think. I truly think sonys translucent lens and upcoming technology is the way to go.

Thanks for the note Paul...  watermarks and digitally imbedding a watermark is especially important if you're publishing / sending large files that can be copied (stolen) but I don't understand why some people insist on putting watermarks on small image files..  again, you stated because you can..  and I can't disagree with that..

It was my first go at photographing the Pelicans, the boat was just a bonus. I guess it's. More exciting the first time out.

Hi Paul,

If you have a chance some-time soon, I HIGHLY recommend going to L&D 14 this week to photograph pelicans. There were hundreds of them there today, it was an amazing sight! Notice the tug? Yep, it says Muscatine!

Thanks Paul, I thought they might be eagles but someone I know labeled them as hawks in one of their own pictures on fb. Since I was unsure, I went with hawks. I appreciate the correction!!

thanks for your friend request Paul,

just been reading about identity scams, its real easy to find out someones details. I never give my correct DOB, mums name etc etc, one way to help  not getting caught in the scammers trap
