What Will It Be It Be This Time?

Posted on August 31, 2011 at 6:30pm 2 Comments

I talk to and deal with business people nearly every day.  I know things are tough out there, but it is not all bad for all people. But you listen for 30 minutes to many people and you get it over and over. What is it? Excuses.  I want my business to grow, but you just don't understand my business.  I don't have the money.  You don't know my employees. Yada, Yada, Yada.

Listen to many of today's young adults and youth and you get it all the time. Economy bad!, Can't…

Who Do You Turn To?

Posted on August 22, 2011 at 12:46pm 2 Comments

I recently found myself sitting next to a gentleman in the seat next to me on an airplane flight from Portland, Oregon to Houston, Texas.  As is most often the case I introduced myself and eventually worked my way around to the question that I always ask someone that I don’t know. I asked what he did for a living. (As an aside, this question will take you a long ways in your business)

Asking the man what he did for a living, I then found out that I was in for a very long conversation. …
