I talk to and deal with business people nearly every day. I know things are tough out there, but it is not all bad for all people. But you listen for 30 minutes to many people and you get it over and over. What is it? Excuses. I want my business to grow, but you just don't understand my business. I don't have the money. I recently found myself sitting next to a gentleman in the seat next to me on an airplane flight from Portland, Oregon to Houston, Texas. As is most often the case I introduced myself and eventually worked my way around to the question that I always ask someone that I don’t know. I asked what he did for a living.
