I'm striving to understand the fundamentals of photography rather than just "winging" it. I see a lot of great photos but I don't know how they were achieved. I believe lighting is critical and I am ready to add it to my work. For post production efforts I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 but my goal is to understand how to take a great photo so that less editing is required.
