I’m an avid outdoorsman, living in the western region of the Texas Hill Country’s “Edwards Plateau.” Much of my work here is simply an extension of what I love to do… out there with the “Wild and Free.”
My introduction to photography was sparked via a school sponsored photography & film development program… back in 1969 (doh!). I shot a ton of 35mm film through the years, leaning on a Vivitar 450/SLD and a Canon A1. Much of my early photography simply centered around duties serving in the United States Coast Guard, a job that allowed extensive travel and excitement for literally 20 years. Sadly much of my early film stock is decayed beyond resurrection. God Bless digital gear – YEAH!
My work is available and if something interests you, please contact me. Thank you for stopping by!
God Bless

Also, check out McKittrick Canyon in the fall, just south of Carlsbad. Guadalupe ridge in the mountains above Carlsbad and Sitting Bull falls. I've been to RedRock State Park but it's been along time. One of my favorites in the state is Pecos Canyon, especially in the fall; mid October. If you're a horseman or want to go for a good walk check out the Pecos wilderness, either from the Pecos or Penasco side. Another real good area in your state is Palo Duro south of Amarillo.
I was just looking at your photographs in the Desert Southwest forum and the photograph you have labeled "Mount Guadalupe" is actually showing El Capitan. Guadalupe peak is the tallest point in Texas and it is actually several miles north of the escarpment your are seeing here. Thought you should know. Nice work on your portfolio.
