I love this photograph! The color is perfect; it shows a definite moodiness. The calm of the water does not match the gray of the sky and water. Did you do any post-processing?
Sean, I can't remember what I asked you. I've looked at all my comments and find none addressed to you. That said, let me say that you are a true artist with a camera. You have an original and creative view of the world.
The best thing about being a photographer is your work can never and will never be like someone else's work! Photography is about isolating one small piece of a 360 degree veiw of a 3d world , then flating the 3d to only 1d. Making it practially impossiable to shoot the same as anyone else. As for making money you just have to have a thick skin and go to every possiable art venue. The worest thing that can happen is they say no. Even Andy Worhol's GIFT to the museum of art was sent back with a rejection letter. And his pop art is some of the most famus from an american artist. Keep in touch

You have some of the most amazing work I have every seen a self proclaimed "serious amature" create! Most amatures I've met still take pictures of tree bark, and power lines. You could really make some money. I only say this b/c I do and my picture cant even touch yours! Good luck!
