Need some macro lens advice...

Since I have blogged about this, I figured it wouldn't hurt to put my frustrations out there and see if anyone has any suggestions......
I was so very eager to get my new macro lens to find that I don't even try and use it. I can see that it takes some patience and pre-planning on my part to use it properly and not sure if that's what I want in a lens. I am one of those people who like to grab my camera and go and snap a pic of something in almost pure spur of the moment or just walk… Continue

I got my new lens!!!! I'm so excited, like a kid at xmas!! The camera store called yesterday at about 2pm and I work an hour away from the camera store so I had to beg my boss to let me leave an hour early from work so I could race to the store and get it before they closed since today I'm leaving straight from work to go to Orlando. I was so frustrated though when I got home because I had so much to do I really couldn't play with it like I wanted to! The bad thing for me now is I'm really… Continue

Ok I'm not really big in blogs but since this is a photography site, why not document my photography life.
Todays title is waiting because I have been waiting patiently for my new macro lens to come in and it's finally starting to really bug me it hasn't come in yet! I ordered it on the 9th of April so its been three weeks when I was told a few weeks. A few weeks means 2 or less to me and I have a trip planned this weekend to Disney's Epcot for the Flower festival and would love to have it… Continue

Rina Kupfer said… - Actually shanna I used a regular editing program. what i did with the tulips I masked the background and use a Hue shift to change that background and then I went to photoshop and used one of my actions to make the clean the pixes around the tulip line to make it soft :))
