Hello, you could also use an adjustment brush in Lightroom with -100 saturation and only affect the area where you want to have the photo in B&W. Hope this helps

About Me and My Photography Experience:: Became hooked on photography at around seven years of age, after seeing the beautiful and eloquent Kodak commercials on the Wide World of Disney. I'm a former photojournalist, a graduate of the Hallmark Institute of Photography and have a freelance business, Sharon DiRienzo Photography, where I specialize in commercial, portrait and wedding photography.
