I had a 50D but it was stolen last week. I will get another one. I had the EF-S 18-200mm and I liked this lens. But this time I will get the EF 24-105 F4L. I hope to replace it next week.

Yes, I am a Soa'er...I too have just gotten back into photography. I got a pretty good p & s (Pan Lumix TZ 5 with a Leica lens.) Although I had an SLR many yrs ago, this is working pretty well. Once I master this camera, I will consider…
My name is Steve and I have recently rediscovered my addiction to a camera. I am a 41 year old male living in the Boise, Idaho area. I started taking photos when I was about 7 and got my first 35mm when I was in the 5th grade. I loved it up until I was about 20 and like most men in their 20s I had more important things to do. About four years ago my Mom got me a Sony Cyber shot 5MP digital camera. It was great as long as nothing moved so I was very disappointed with digital cameras until last March when I purchased a advanced point and shoot, I was very happy with the results but it did not take long to outgrow my new camera so three DSLRs later I am happy with the camera I have now.
My Photography Equipment:
Canon 50D
Canon S5 IS
Canon 18-200 IS
Canon 70-300

Thanks for the invite!!
I just wanted to let you know that I admire your taking pictures of the Special Olypics and posting them for all to see. I had my aunt live with us my whole childhood, she was downs syndrom and was only supposed to live to be around 18. Well she died last year at the age of 51. My sister in law also is mentally retarded, however not nearly as severe. Anyway my point is that it takes special people to love and understand these disabilities and clearly you're one of those people. You have captures their personalities in these pics and I don't believe that just anyone can accomplish that. I would love to add you to my friends list, I'm a SOA member as well so I've seen you there too. Keep shooting! Connie
Hello my friend...I made it to the new site....Love it so far and thank you sooooo much for your PM on Soa....I really needed a new site...Time to go look around alittle...Thanks again, Janice aka yomommaj
