I always was the creative sort. And in the past I have had many different ways to express it. I loved to draw and paint. . I did that simply because of costs. But I always enjoyed photography. But cost where always an issue. Cost of film, developing, cameras. I did at one point purchase a Pentax K1000. I loved it. I just couldn't afford to do much. Then thanks to the digital age I started to work with Photoshop and 3D modeling. And I loved it. But it had the same drawback that drawing and painting did. I love to get out and about. The digital age gave me one more great thing. The digital camera. That is when I became a shutter bug. Always had my camera in tow and would snap pics of all sorts of things.
I stayed like that for some time until I had an opportunity to work with my first model. It was a friend of mine and she said, "You should take some pictures for me." The came out very well considering I was using a simple low end Kodak camera. I enjoyed it so much. That is when things really started to take off for me. I went and purchased my first DSLR Camera. A Nikon D40. It opened up an entire new world for me.
Since then I work with Models, shoot weather, sporting events, and landscapes. I am honing my skill daily. Working to learn. Started getting better equipment of lights, backdrops, props, and wardrobes.
So please feel free to take a look at my photos. Any and all comments are welcomed! And if you have questions I will answer them if I can. I know that I have many myself! :)
Hello all. Hope everyone is doing well. Great to see all the great captures that everyone is sharing :)
Here is one I took Sat of my daughter. Just went though a move so I am in the middle of setting up my studio at my location.
Smiles!
Hello everyone! Hope it has been a great all!
Santa came early for me and bought me a brand new zoom lens for my D40. Got out playing with it late this eve.
I agree that the lighting could have been better. This shot was taken from some distance. Just was one of those "there is the shot!! Get it! :) It really would have been better if I had a better lens. And I am just learning about flash and how…
WOW Love the effect. I may have allowed a little more definition of her shoulders to come through you masking effect. But other than that it is stunning. The colors of the flowers match her and the theme very well.
