Dabbled since I started working, continued to dabble until a car accident prevented me from carrying all my equipment and from having the concentration and mobility I needed for it. During my rehab, I purchased a second hand camera (too much in my blood) and found photographs helped me to learn memory. The digital age made it far more economic for me. in 2006 I moved to Christchurch and fell in love with the photographic opportunities provided there in the beauty and the history. Since experiencing EVERY earthquake and having my camera damaged in the September quake, I now have a new easy to carry everywhere versatile camera so I never miss the opportunities provided by a major shake whereever I may be (hopefully, never in the shower or on the toilet!!).
My Photography Equipment:
Simply a Fuji HS20 at the moment, with Macro and Fisheye lenses - for ease of transport to and from work, etc. Sometimes, it's just my wee 3mp cellphone camera when caught short!
