Thanks Tara-Lee for inviting me to be your friend. I would have responded sooner, but we just got back in town from a trip to a couple of high school graduations. It's good to be home. I'll be posting some new photos and have a chance to…
What a face! I would love to pet him. Your exposure setting was pretty good, you brought out the detail in the black fur without overexposing the white areas. Good job.
I have loved taking photos from the age of four when I got my very first camera in a show bag, I continued using this for years until my father handed down his film SLR Ricoh that he travelled London and Europe with in his 20s. I used it for a few years and then it was stolen.
I have been borrowing the cameras from the places I have worked for and have loved using them. But the place I work for now wont allow me to take the camera home so I will have to save up. Due to this I havn't been taking photos with a digital SLR f or over a year now. But look forward to the day I get one.

Hello Tara-Lee, Thank you for your kind comments on my photographs. "Peaceful Stream" is one of my favorites. Here is the camera data on the shot: Olympus E3 set on manual and using a tripod, ISO 100, f/22 at 8 seconds with a ND6 filter, 14-45mm lens at 40mm. You have some beautiful photographs. I can tell you have a very good eye for subjects and composition. I hope you can get a good DSLR soon. Check out Olympus before you buy. I found their cameras and lenses to be of the highest quality and their pricing very competitive.
Best regards, Dan
