Hi, I have a D60 as well. I love it. I know I have been wanting to upgrade for a while now with the D90. Honestly I can wait. I am enjoying what my Nikon is offering for the moment
I am 62 years old and enjoy travelling and taking landscapes.Since my early teens I have driven more thana million miles throughout Australia, visited Europe, America, Canada. Britain, Singapore and New Zealand but would like to see more. Unfortunately I`m unable to at the present time as I have to care for my elderly Mother. When I`ve been travelling around Australia, I always camped out enjoying the solitude of many quiet and pristine places. I enjoy bushwalking, pottering around in my garden and I still play Tennis at a competative level. I worked on the State Railways for 29 years and after that started my own business in Lawnmowing and Garden care. I have three elder sisters one of which lives in Virginia in the USA and two younger brothers who are all married with grown up familys. I was married for only a couple of years in the early 1970`s but since then have lived on my own.
My Photography Equipment:
My latest addition is a DMC-FZ18 Panasonic Lumix and a compact Samsung. I also have two 35mm film cameras, a NikonF60 and a Richo KR10 which I still use if I ever get a chance for a break away and I like to load them up with Fuji Vevia, which is hard to beat. I also have a Canon MP810 3 in one printer and have just started to scan some of my slides. I have just bought a Nikon DSLR D60 to add to m other cameras. Looking forward to getting out and using it. Flying a bit blind at the moment as the manual is in Chineese.
I guess when you are both in the same time zone the chances of you being on the internet at the same time increases!
Thanks for your comment....If you have a look at the contact page of www.imagesandprints.com you will see a number of sub websites themes....all of which stand alone and also feed into the top site which is www.imagesandprints.com. In particular have a look at www.wildlife.imagesandprints.com. The photographer (James) has branded and coloured his own site with a very easy back-end function which you can see and use when you log in as the manager /affiliate of these sites. Terry, I am very happy also to go through some things with you over the phone in real time so you can see how it works and to answer any questions that you may have. If you want to email me the best contact number you can do so on
noirin@imagesandprints.com.
Looking at your profile, it seems you have travelled far and wide.....perhaps you have enough great photos for a few collections ? Anyway, we can talk more and explore that possibility too later?
Hi Terry, I am a member of picturesocial, and I also live in Melbourne. I see that you have a lot of photogrpahy on Australia and I was wondering if you might be interested in having your own Australian themed sub site on www.imagesandprints.com. I might try and send a note to your email address above also. all the best for now,
Noirin
Thank you very much for your very very nice comments on my Prague photos. I would definitely like to go back some time and have more then just 1 day to take photos.
The shot of the Vltava river is on photo cropped in pano style, again to accentuate the view of the beautiful old bridge and buildings. Just took out excess clouds above and excess river below. This is probably my favorite shot.
Hi Terry. Thanks for adding me as your friend and I appreciate the kind words. I love the pictures of the Olympic park across the waterway. You live in a beautiful area.
Thank you for the comments. As for the "portrait" of the girl, actually it is more a "hidden camera" shot than a "candid camera", as it was taken through the train chairs at two rows distance. I must admit though that she was a good subject to shoot and if I were more relaxed at that time maybe the results would have been better.
