Ratrods

This group is dedicated to the rusty beaten up cars known as rat-rods. If there is no rust it must be a hot-rod, or death-rod. Find another page for those sweet cars. Rust need only apply.

About Me and My Photography Experience:
I'm just getting back into photography. I've had the itch for a long time, but just didn't have the time, equipment, or money to get the camera I wanted.

I love playing video games, so some of the pictures you may see will be from LAN parties. I also do a podcast about video games called the AI podcast. I'm also a big sports fan, and i hope to put myself into some great spots for pictures.
My Photography Equipment:
Nikon D90
Nikon Coolpix.

I think you may get a kick out of these photos taken with a camera that runs on .3 megapixels. Thats right, point three.

My Photos From The WW2 Reenactment At Fort Snelling Minnesota

Posted on June 15, 2009 at 4:00pm 6 Comments

The other day I went to a World War 2 reenactment at Fort Snelling Minnesota to take some pictures, and in the following link You can check those out. It was warm, but not hot, and the sky was as clear as could be. I honestly was looking for a cloudy day. I figured that it would make it easier to make them look like they were actually taken back in the forties. Thats why many of them were taken in black and white. I did a few in color just to see how they would turn out, and also to show every… Continue

This next one was taken the same day as the one just above. I was walking back just after having taken that shot when I saw what at first I thought was a few people standing around a very, very… Continue

Thanks Tray for your comment on "Ballard's Cheese Fries." We shot those today and I got to eat them after the shoot. We have quite a few more shots to do. Now I will have to get out and ride my bike to work off the calories. :)

Best regards,

Dan

hmm...i have to try to remember how i did the FB button thing.  i think if you go to the very bottom of your FB page there is small text...look for "badges".  then you can click on the one that says "like badge".  it should give your code so that you can enter it on to your page on here.  i'm horrible at explaining myself so let me know if this makes no sense at all. lol

I like the join in the material, in the centre of the shot. It does absolutely nothing for me.
