Profile Information
- About Me and My Photography Experience:
- I am 24 years old, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Growing up, traveling was common with my family, my dad would always bring out the video camera to try and capture great family moments, as the technology age evolved my dad started using digital cameras more and more often. He was far from professional but that didn't stop me from borrowing it as often as I could. When I was 20 I was in school for a degree in Child development , eventually I got a job at the Tim Horton's Children's Ranch as an Creative Artsand Regional education Facilitator , this meant I could help disadvantaged children express their creativity and expression through art and have an oppurtunity to educate them on the area around them. This job was a huge turning point for me because on my free time my Program manager got me to be the onsite photograher as well, my work reached the head office which called back with many compliments. From there I moved on to study at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in the Photography program. I have received jobs in family portraits,convocation, engagement, wildlife, Up close nature photography and later I hope to explore more in Wildlife photography.
- My Photography Equipment:
- I currently own a Canon 50 D, a 100mm macro, 18-75 mm, various filters, a 580 flash and diffuser and much more to be updated soon.
